Progressive Contractor
ROC license · CR-2- States a contractor license
Three pool companies are listed in Tolleson and none is confirmed as a builder. That matters less than it would elsewhere: Tolleson is a small West Valley city with the Phoenix metro on every side, so the companies that will quote a new pool here are listed under neighboring cities rather than this one. Widen the search and the field stops being small.
The license data is the most telling thing on a list this short. Two of the three match a record in the ROC posting list dated 2026-10-02, holding a CR-36 and a CR-2. Neither appears among the pool build classes, which are B-5, B-6, A-9, A-19, KA-5 and KA-6. On this evidence, nobody listed in Tolleson is carrying a license to build you a pool.

What the city does have is finish and surface work. One listing is a pool plastering company and another handles outdoor environments, which fits a place that gets its new construction from next door. For replastering, resurfacing or yard work around an existing pool, a company based this close is often the practical call.
Review counts are small: 6, 4 and 2, with a median of 4. Only one of the three listings states a license and only one carries a description, so verification falls to you. The ROC contractor search is free at azroc.my.site.com/AZRoc/s/contractor-search, and the class attached to a number tells you more than the number itself.
Common questions about pool builders in Tolleson
Can anyone in Tolleson build me a pool?
Not on this list. All three listings are service or finish companies, and neither of the two matched ROC records sits in a pool build class. For a new pool, look at the surrounding West Valley cities.
What are CR-36 and CR-2?
They are the two license classes recorded for Tolleson companies in the 2026-10-02 ROC posting list. Neither is among the pool build classes, which are B-5, B-6, A-9, A-19, KA-5 and KA-6. A company holding one of them should not be quoting a new pool on its own license.
Is a three-company list a problem?
Less than it sounds. Tolleson is ringed by the Phoenix metro, so a company listed in an adjoining city is a short drive away and will quote work here. Read this page as the local shortlist for surface and yard work, not as the whole market available to you.
What should I check before hiring?
The ROC number and the class attached to it, first. Only one of the three listings mentions a license and only one has a description, so most of your checking happens by phone. The ROC search is free at azroc.my.site.com/AZRoc/s/contractor-search.
